He has DVM, MVSC, and PhD degrees. Professor Haja Kadarmideen has been employed in tenure-track and tenured full professorship, principal scientist and geneticist positions at the world's reputed universities, institutes and government agencies for over 25 years, since 1998. It includes University of Copenhagen (UCPH), Technical University of Denmark (DTU) and Aarhus University (AU) in Denmark, Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (CSIRO) in Australia, Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) Zurich in Switzerland and Scottish Agricultural College (SAC) Edinburgh in United Kingdom. In most of these positions, he also had science leadership, strategic management and senior executive role. He has recently been a global CTO and Head of R & D in agri-genomics/biotech commercial company owned by Grosvenor Food & AgTech group across UK, USA and Denmark. He has provided scientific advice to many multi-national companies including Vytelle LLC, Interpretomics, PrecisionLife Ltd and MARS Petcare. He is an active panel member or board member of research funding agencies in Western European countries and at European Commission's H2020 programs. He is an active member of several professional societies, Editor in various journals and functioned as a member of many strategic committees in government and universities.
